Life Legacy
Johanna Elizabeth Darin Boni, 63, of Sylvan Way, Wallingford, died surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at her home. She was the beloved wife of John Boni Sr.
She was born in Meriden, December 6, 1946, the daughter of the late Frank and Laura Santillo Darin and was a lifelong Wallingford resident. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection. Johanna loved to travel, take care of her dogs and spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her four children, Beth Boni of New Haven, John Boni Jr. of Wallingford, Mary Ierardi and her husband Ken of Wallingford, and Nicholas Boni and his fiancée Shannon Smart of Meriden; her two beloved grandchildren, Sofia Ierardi and Kenny Ierardi Jr.; and her brother, John Darin of Wallingford. She was predeceased by her brother, Crescenzo Darin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to The Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06451.
