It's sad to think about an old friend and do a google search only to find that they have passed away too early. I was part of that West Coast trip that Peter Johnson mentioned. Great memories of "Skip" from junior high through high school. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

After living next door to Skip for the last 13 years we are saddened by his sudden passing. He was truly a kind soul who could always be counted on for a warm smile and pleasant over the back garden fence chat. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with his family.

Words cannot describe how I feel from losing such a great friend. I worked with Skip for almost five years and I have never met a more dedicated, honest, hard-working man. I never viewed him as my boss because he always treated me fairly and with respect. Always greeting me with a smile on his face, Skip had true passion for his job and was sincere about every task he took on. I will always remember my dear friend Skip, as he has left such an impression on me. May his family find comfort in knowing that they are in my thoughts and prayers and what a great man Skip truly was.

Skip and I worked very closely together for over 7 years @ Winebow. I would always tease him and call him "A book of knowledge", because he seemed to know about anything & everything. Skip was always there when someone needed him. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. Sheila Mitchell
